So guess what? Did you know the US government wanted to test out the effects of nuclear radiation on Native American populations, such as the ones in Alaska? Did you also know that government officials didn’t inform Navajo people living in New Mexico that their drinking water was laced with radioactive material 7,000 times more than what is considered safe, and when concerns were raised, the government died aid to them and said “you’ll be fine as long as you don’t rely on the livestock you all are raising clearly just for fun”.

Speaking of lovely bullshit the rest of America keeps dumping onto Native American communities (half of which are already impoverished and struggling BECAUSE of the shit the US government did in the 1800’s), I hear common complaints from people about how “hypocritical” it was for the people at the site to leave it a mess after they left. Well, excuse me, but do you think YOU could do a better job with cleaning up things when people are being shot at with rubber bullets and nearly having limbs blown off with gas canisters like Sophia Wilansky? This is so depressing, and I blame so much of this shit on CNN and Fox for actively avoiding showing any of this shit to the public lest people start to *gasp* see something they don’t want to. This is especially depressing when they seem all too eager to showcase offenses against African Americans, but not against Native Americans. Now THAT is hypocritical, since BOTH peoples deserve attention. I mean for Christ’s sake, they brought in a fucking Surface-To-Air missile launcher! Before any of this shit happened, I stood fairly on the side of police and other peace-keeping organizations in terms of keeping things in check and while I STILL DO even after all of this (the vast majority of police DON’T go around fucking shit up and are actually good people), I DO have a problem with the equipment law enforcement is allowed to use. I’m referring to those gas canisters than even the fucking ARMY won’t use because of the risk of killing people accidentally with their discharges.

I love you America, don’t ever think I don’t, and I still support police, but Jesus Christ you aren’t making this task of defending you guys easy, especially when that kind of shit is happening to people who are already fucked up do to the US government.

Also, that land they said “wasn’t part of that Native American territory” was taken by the US government after the US government made a treaty saying the Native Communities could have the land in the 1800’s after a series of bloody wars over it.

Gotta love sweeping shit under the rug, right?
If you disagree, by all means comment down below. Even with all of this shit going on, I still don’t deny anyone the right to their opinion, even if it conflicts with my own. If I sound very angry in this post, it’s because my family on my mom’s side is Apache.

I do not disagree, but if you turn that mirror on any other country you find equal to or a far more ugly history than the actions by the US.
